
Società Chimica Bussi Spa has been awarded funding for the Hydrorec project by Invitalia, as part of the “Next Appennino” initiative, financed through the Complementary Fund of the Italian National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) and aimed at revitalizing areas affected by the Central Italy earthquake.
The total investment amounts to approximately 8 million euros and is structured into the following projects:
- Production Investment: aimed at the construction of a plant for the capture, purification, and compression of hydrogen generated by the electrolytic processes present at the site;
- Environmental Protection: aimed at the implementation of technical equipment capable of optimizing water resource consumption, as well as the installation of a new turbine for the production of hydroelectric energy;
- Research and Development: aimed at the experimentation of new hydrogenation electrolysis processes for the creation of new low environmental impact chemical products.
